Counselling Service - Adults and young person, aged 14+

Life’s challenges can sometimes feel too much to handle alone, but you don’t have to face them without support. Counselling offers a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your feelings and achieve a greater sense of well-being.

I offer integrative counselling tailored to your individual needs. My practice is primarily person-centred, and we believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is fundamental to healing and personal growth. While I focus on a person-centred approach, I also incorporate elements of other therapeutic models to support your individual needs.

I have experience working with various issues and diagnoses, offering short-term and long-term therapy. Sessions can be held weekly or fortnightly, depending on what feels right for you. I understand that receiving a diagnosis, whether related to physical or mental health or neurodiversity, can bring up a range of emotions and challenges. Counselling provides a space to explore what your diagnosis means for you and how to navigate life with greater self-awareness and self-compassion.

For five years, I worked specifically with individuals affected by sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse. This experience has given us deep insight into trauma and its long-term effects, allowing me to offer a sensitive and understanding approach to you and your experiences.

Whatever the reason, counselling offers a supportive space to navigate challenges, make sense of difficult emotions, and find ways to move forward. My approach is always tailored to your needs, ensuring you feel heard, valued, and empowered.

If you want to explore whether counselling is right for you, I offer a free, no-obligation first session to discuss your needs and how we might work together.

Sessions are £50 per session.

I also offer limited concessionary rates, starting at £40

With a reduced rate of £35 for counselling students.
